GRIZZLIES GAME

One of Jeremy's old hockey friends was playing on a team against the Utah Grizzlies, so we went to the game to watch. It's actually funny, for as much of a hockey family we are, we rarely go watch it. Anyways, little Chase sure loves to be snuggled, and loves his family, and LOVES hockey!

HEALTHY BOY

Green beans, black beans, brown rice, chicken. The boy eats almost anything we give him. We're lucky with him. His brother on the other hand would prefer ice cream, candy, and chocolate for dinner, so we can't take the parenting credit. We're working on little Chase. He's getting better :)

TAE KWON DO

For Christmas we got Tyler a Tae Kwon Do outfit, and a few lessons. The place we went wouldn't let him come until he was at least 4, but they let us do the trial classes early. We still haven't gotten around to officially signing him up (a year later), because gymnastics, hockey, soccer, preschool and everything else has kept him so busy, but the trial classes were among the cutest things ever! He was so focused and disciplined in those classes - which is fun to watch. He's normally bouncing off the walls! This reminds me, maybe I should go get him signed up?!

LATE CHRISTMAS

Our boys get spoiled at Christmas between Santa and all the grandparents. I usually hide a few of their presents and bring them out a few weeks later, so they can enjoy the newness of them for longer. Here are the little guys enjoying their Chrismas presents a few weeks after Christmas.

TYLER'S PENGUIN OBSESSION

Remember Tyler wanted a Penguin for Christmas. It was all because of a book his preschool teacher read him about a penguin who bit a lion in the nose. Tyler thought it was hilarious, and his cousin Cole got him that book for Christmas. Best Christmas present ever. Luckily Grandma Celine saw this penguin shirt at a store one day! Tyler loved IT!

COOL GUYS

These guys love their little sunglasses. They love wearing them and looking just like daddy. I love replacing them every 3 weeks, because little kids lose and break sunglasses. Its a law.

FAMILY PICTURES

All our kids seem to like having their pictures taken as much as their parents do... Martin and Colleen were in town for a visit, right before Martin's brain surgery and we got some pictures taken for Matt who misses his nephews and niece dearly. Chase got to roam the pantry with his cousin Matthew. Good times.

WORKING OUT

Just another typical workout.... haha. 933 calories later, and I'm still hanging on to that pudgy baby fat. Ah well, it feels good to work out anyways!

CHASE'S SCOOTER

When Chase was born, we gave Tyler this little Spiderman scooter as a "gift" from Chase... I guess I read somewhere it's good to have the new baby bring presents so the older kids will like it. Who knows the psychology behind it, but now Chase himself is big enough to "ride" it, and BOY he feels big!

MAKING NOODLES WITH MOM

Tyler has always been a good little helper in the kitchen. I think it's his curiosity, and I'm not sure it will last forever, so I'm enjoying it while I have it. He especially loves making homemade noodles. His first time making homemade noodles was with Grandma Lori. For awhile he even called her Grandma Noodle. Every time I make things that require rolling, cutting, and mixing especially he loves to jump on the counter and help out. Please don't grow up little guy!

COUSINS PARTY

Each year around Christmas time we have a cousins party with my dad's side of the family. It's so much fun! We have some really cool cousins, and all the kids have a blast playing. This year the cousin's party was at my parent's house and we interviewed my Grandma Irene about her life. It's always fun learning about our grandparents and their lives.

HERE WE GO AGAIN!

Well it's been almost 8 months since I last blogged, and I'm over a year behind. Should I try to catch up? Well... .I'm going to try. I have all my pictures from my iphone loaded into my computer, ready and waiting for me. Let's see how far I get at this attempt of being current!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?

We were at the Library, and Tyler could NOT believe they had the same book his teacher Miss Kindra likes to read to him at pre-school. He was so proud and couldn't wait to tell her all about it. He loves his teacher so much. She is a GREAT teacher.

CHASE PING PONG MASTER?

Chase LOVES to do everything Tyler does. Tyler thinks its fun.... unless it messes with his Ping Pong game. Look how much fun he's having though? hehe

FAVORITE CHRISTMAS GIFTS

I've always wanted a pair of tall black boots but I've been too shy to wear them because I'm taller than Jeremy. Well this year I said to heck with it.... they still give me a back ache but I just wear them here and there for a couple hours. I always liked the cute wallet I got this year from Lori. It holds EVERYTHING! There were other gifts I liked, but I don't have pictures for them. Jer got a macbook for his present. He liked it too. He got tricked a little, he had no clue it was coming.

Although the gifts are great, this year we did something neat. On Christmas morning before going downstairs to open gifts, we read the Christmas story with our boys. We thought it was good to literally put CHRIST first on Christmas morning. I'd like to do it each year, and know the boys will become more and more anxious Christmas morning to see their gifts, but it's important. Christmas gets so fun and busy, and it's easy to forget why we celebrate. I'm grateful for my Savior, and I'm glad we can take time to remember HIM.

CHRISTMAS CLASSICS

What's Christmas without some Christmas pj's and a baby falling asleep in the middle of the floor. All my REAL Christmas pictures are on my real camera on Jeremy's computer, so these are just the iphone ones. Soon I'll start blogging with decent quality pictures, but let's be honest - this is better than NOTHING RIGHT? Christmas was great... or so it seems it was. It was 8 months ago? Why do I wait so long to blog?

MERRY HALLOWEEN?

The boys all got these shirts on Christmas. Classic.

KISSABLE?!

Squishable, kissable, loveable!

WRAPPING PAPER OBSESSION

If you get a present from me throughout the year, you'll probably get it in the store bag I bought it from and if you're lucky from an old recycled bag in my basement. It's embarrassing really. However... I have this thing with wrapping presents at Christmas. It's so fun for me to pick a new paper each year, and spend the last few days before Christmas wrapping them cute, with personalized labels and all that. It's relaxing to me. I love it. For now at least.

CHERISH

these precious moments.... and feet!
