CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?

We were at the Library, and Tyler could NOT believe they had the same book his teacher Miss Kindra likes to read to him at pre-school. He was so proud and couldn't wait to tell her all about it. He loves his teacher so much. She is a GREAT teacher.

CHASE PING PONG MASTER?

Chase LOVES to do everything Tyler does. Tyler thinks its fun.... unless it messes with his Ping Pong game. Look how much fun he's having though? hehe

FAVORITE CHRISTMAS GIFTS

I've always wanted a pair of tall black boots but I've been too shy to wear them because I'm taller than Jeremy. Well this year I said to heck with it.... they still give me a back ache but I just wear them here and there for a couple hours. I always liked the cute wallet I got this year from Lori. It holds EVERYTHING! There were other gifts I liked, but I don't have pictures for them. Jer got a macbook for his present. He liked it too. He got tricked a little, he had no clue it was coming.

Although the gifts are great, this year we did something neat. On Christmas morning before going downstairs to open gifts, we read the Christmas story with our boys. We thought it was good to literally put CHRIST first on Christmas morning. I'd like to do it each year, and know the boys will become more and more anxious Christmas morning to see their gifts, but it's important. Christmas gets so fun and busy, and it's easy to forget why we celebrate. I'm grateful for my Savior, and I'm glad we can take time to remember HIM.

CHRISTMAS CLASSICS

What's Christmas without some Christmas pj's and a baby falling asleep in the middle of the floor. All my REAL Christmas pictures are on my real camera on Jeremy's computer, so these are just the iphone ones. Soon I'll start blogging with decent quality pictures, but let's be honest - this is better than NOTHING RIGHT? Christmas was great... or so it seems it was. It was 8 months ago? Why do I wait so long to blog?

MERRY HALLOWEEN?

The boys all got these shirts on Christmas. Classic.

KISSABLE?!

Squishable, kissable, loveable!

WRAPPING PAPER OBSESSION

If you get a present from me throughout the year, you'll probably get it in the store bag I bought it from and if you're lucky from an old recycled bag in my basement. It's embarrassing really. However... I have this thing with wrapping presents at Christmas. It's so fun for me to pick a new paper each year, and spend the last few days before Christmas wrapping them cute, with personalized labels and all that. It's relaxing to me. I love it. For now at least.

CHERISH

these precious moments.... and feet!

LIFETIME CHRISTMAS PARTY

Lifetime Fitness puts on some GREAT holiday parties. These pictures were taken at the Christmas party. Tyler told Santa at this party that he wanted a penguin for Christmas. We had no idea why until we found out later, that his preschool teacher had read him a book about a funny penguin. It was random, but he never stopped asking for a penguin the whole Christmas season. Oh and POOR Chase- will someone get that kid a haircut!

BRAZILIAN FRIENDS!

While Jeremy served his mission in Brazil, he met some really great people. One family in particular I've got to meet and see a few times as they visit the U.S somewhat regularly. This is a picture of Sueli with our boys. Her daughter Erica came here a few years ago to study at BYU and we helped her find a place. She babysat Tyler while I played hockey a number of nights. She was awesome, just like an Aunt. We got to see Sueli this year around Christmas. It's always a real treat to see her, and to be reminded of Jeremy's time serving in Brazil. It was a hard 2 years for him (and for me while waiting), but the blessings and good that came from it are immeasurable. We are so lucky and so blessed. I'm proud of his mission, and I'm grateful for his mission friends!

SKATING AND SANTA

Last winter, Tyler started his little learn to skate program. It was the only thing he could start at that age, and it had a lot of girls in it. He started in the middle of a semester and you could tell he felt a little confused the whole time. Then he started a new semester from scratch and it all clicked and he understood what was going on. Tyler isn't used to not having complete control over his body. Once he got the hang of it, he loved it. He graduated Snowplow 1, then we got out of there and signed him up for real hockey. Something about being with girls in Figure Skates to learn how to skate really offended him (along with other people he lives with). At the end of the semester, he also got to skate with Santa. How exciting!

SAVE THIS FOR DADDY

Tyler made sure to save Jeremy part of his candy cane for a whole day while Jeremy was gone. It was so cute. As soon as Jeremy got home, Tyler rushed over to him and gave him the special treat. He's a sweetie!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLE!

There's not much more precious than Cole and Tyler's friendship. They could be brothers, but probably not, they don't fight enough for that! Tyler was SOOO excited to give Cole his Spiderman shoes for his birthday. It was Cole's request and Tyler was happy to fulfill it. Each time we get together with Cole, Uncle Jeremy takes them to get drinks and chips at Maverick. Cole looks forward to it, and it's such a fun tradition. When Livia was born, we were leaving the hospital, and that's where this tradition started.

DUMB AND DUMBER

Every road trip my family took growing up, we would watch Dumb and Dumber in the big maroon van. All Godfreys can quote that movie in their sleep. Well I thought it would be nostalgic to have Tyler watch it. He watched it....then I realized I wouldn't want him repeating lots of parts, so he'll have to wait to be able to quote it. Backwards. Underwater.

INTERUPTING DISNEY

I'm interupting the Disney posts (seeing that it's now August) to catch up on about 8months of blogging. I never even blogged about last Christmas. Man do I have my work cut out for me.

OLIVE GARDEN BDAY

The birthday boy's request. Tyler and Cole spent the meal
Laughing at each other getting in trouble from their dads. Livia wiggled. Chase ate a ton!

VEGAS STRIP

We pulled in around 7 and had a little night out on the town. Tyler wanted to know why people would smoke and why Vegas is so FAR? We were some of the few people with strollers- at one point all 8 of us had a 3 minute sprint down the strip to try and catch a fire show- we didn't make it, but we had fun trying!

Since I don't want to announce to the World on facebook we will be out of town for a week- I'll do fun trip updates for those who will miss me (my kids) on here!

Were off with the Hansons for a week of FUN! We are splitting cars, and drivers depending on the moods, movie tastes, and tempermants of kids- Here we go!

SUPER TYLER

This picture WILL be in his wedding video... and for the record... I think this is the most perfect outfit ever for a little boy! Who needs slacks and polo shirts?

HARMONS

There are a lot of reasons I love shopping at Harmons. Most of the time I can't justify the higher prices, but lately, I can justify the car carts. Just sayin'

MOTHERHOOD

No one tells you in the mothering books, that with motherhood comes this obnoxious task. The task of pulling out all sorts of bins, rearranging all sorts of clothes that are mislabled. They say 3-6 months, but they're either swimming in it at that age, or it's too small. Then you have to put a bunch of clothes away, pull out a bunch of bigger ones, and then 3-6 months later- you do it again. It's a tough job. Really. it is. (and don't get me started on baby blankets)

FIRST SNOW

So this first snow was a long time ago- not quite April. We're hoping for our last snow right now. I'm all of a sudden tempted to back date all my posts since I'm 4 months behind. Anyways, Tyler just loves going out there with a shovel in hand. It's a good thing he likes doing it because his daddy thinks it's unecessary, and his mom often forgets.

PHONE THIEF

There's a phone thief in my house. Need I say more?

GYM BROS

These 2 just love gymnastics. Lately Chase has gotten big enough to do quite a bit of his own at gymnastics. It's made it pretty hard to watch both of them at the same time, considering they are all over the place. 2 boys is tiring. 2 boys is fun.

PLANTS

We got this cute little plant from Gma Lori for Christmas. It was one of those festive plants. We stood by, for week, and weeks on end waiting for the flower to come out. It never did. The stems sure got long, and every now and then I worry Tyler is going to notice I finally threw it out.

T.Y.L.E.R

How cute is this? He's a quick, cute little learner.

PENCILS AND COUSINS

So here I am, in April, trying to catch up to the begining of the school year. Wow, I'm impressive. Tyler. The three pencils were for him, Mikey, and Lex. We were going over to their house for Mikey's friend bday party and he insisted he bring them each their own pencil.

NEW MINI-VAN

CUTE COUSINS

This is Tyler at Mikey's birthday party (although, I didn't get a shot of Mikey and Tyler together at Chuck-e-Cheese, Jeremy wasn't there and I was chasing 2 kids by myself). He loves his cousin Mikey. Last Halloween, a couple rude kids insulted Mikey's Halloween costume. Ever since then - even to this day, Tyler will out of the blue say in his prayers "And please bless the bad dudes, wont say mean things to Mikey, and if they do I will just pop them and give them black eyes". Kind of cute - kind of violent.

POWER OF PRAYER

My brother Martin is in the hospital right now. He's having brain surgery to fix his problems with seizures. He had meningitis as a little boy and a side effect has been seizures that he's had under control with medications. In recent years the medications haven't worked as well - Anyways the reason I'm blogging about this is because for all 6 of you who read this, I'm asking for extra prayers for him. I believe very strongly in the power of prayer, since this experience here.
Thanks in advance :)

MY LITTLE HELPER

Tyler loves to know how things work. I hate to do laundry. I decided he could help me and eventually maybe do it for me? eh? His favorite part is to pour the soap in the washer. He does a very good job distributing the soap all around very evenly. He loves pulling the button to start it also. He's a pretty good helper with cleaning things - except picking up his toys. I actually remember when I was a little girl hating picking up toys. It felt SO HARD. The thing that helped, was if someone helped. So I often make deals with him that I'll help him. Then I do most of it myself - but at least he thinks he's working.
