Godfrey Family Camp Out

A couple weeks ago, we went to a Godfrey Family Camp Out. It was just for one night, but it was a lot of fun. Within a year of when Tyler was born, around 10 of my cousins/siblings have had babies (that's not including Jeremy's 6 or 7 or so). Needless to say, we had a lot of good company and a lot of food!

Before we went up to the camp site, we needed to stop at Jeremy's parents house to pick up a pack-and-play. Well the slip and slide was out and we got a little distracted. Tyler absolutely loved it though. It's amazing how you can live through your children. If he is having fun, so are we!

Hey, this is neat - I can climb this!

Tyler Classics

Since I'm starting this blog so randomly, and feel like I have so many cute pictures of Tyler to share, I'm just going to post some of the classics. These are all from the pre-hockey hair phase of Tyler's life. Jeremy likes that Tyler has long curly "hockey" hair with "wings" now. Those pictures will come soon...

How I learned to BLOG!

So I vowed never to become a blogger. Well then my sister-in-law and I decided to get our food storage together - a very daunting task I have been putting off. To make it more fun and give ourselves more accountability, we decided to do a blog about it. Anyways, I have had so much fun doing it, I'm making the plunge, I'm gonna do a personal blog too~ To see our awesome blog, click below, or visit http://foodstoragemadeeasy.net.

I encourage you all to join in the fun, comment, and give ideas! We have found ways to make it a lot easier- check it out! Also, we REALLY WANT TO GET THE WORD OUT, so feel free to tell all your friends about it. You could even copy this image and use it as a blog post of your own (because we all know posts with pictures are cuter).

And so it begins....

I feel like starting a blog out of nowhere is weird timing. I want to share all sorts of funny stories about Tyler (the main reason for doing this blog) but there is no way to share them all. So I'll just start now, right in the middle of what has been the funnest part of having Tyler.
So last week, our little 13 month old Tyler:
  • learned to climb out of his crib
  • stuck markers down our air vents (after having moved the dog cage we had placed on top of the vent to stop just this)
  • put three toys in three different toilets
  • ran around pulling on our dogs tail, screaming woozzoooh wooozohhh (that's "Raider" in Tyler talk)
  • puked and pooped all in a matter of moments while I was at a friends house
  • learned to climb up onto our bed - and its tall
  • HID OUR IPOD IN THE VCR! (we looked for it for 2 hours, and didn't find it until the next day)
All of this can only make one laugh. The cutest thing was finding him in his nursery, sitting on the rocking chair, rocking and singing to himself.

I love little TYLER!
This picture is from his 1's birthday, he's saying "Cheers" to ice cream!
